WD Black series are mainly meant for RAID, I'd get a WD Blue series. Regarding the SSD; the Vertex is a good one. The main difference between the Vertex and other comparable SSD's is the controller. The Vertex uses a difference controller than the others (who use a JMicron controller) and are there much slower then being said. I read it in one of my gamemagazines and on a website once, I'll see if I can post it here tonight.

Don't change the SSD. The vertex has an indlilinx controller, which is better than the samsung controller found in the Corsair drives.
Bottom line: OCZ Vertex or Intel for SSD's. |

Yeah I'll leave the Vertex on there definitely.
This is on hold unfortunately, most likely another 1-2 months until I can make the purchase. By then there will be a few changes to make so I'll bump the thread

I have a OCZ Vertex 60GB, they're awesome. Need to set it up and tweak it properly though but I can help you out when you get it up and running
. Be sure to use Windows 7 x64.
