Which Mobile Integrated GPU can play BF2:PR at 1366x768 ? HD3000, 6520G, 6620G , HD4000 ?
And at what level? In short, I am buying another work laptop, spending as little as possible, I have an immediate choice of a HD3000, 6520G, 6620G, or I can wait a week and get a HD 4000. Can any of these play PR at medium settings? What if I overclock the 6520G or 6620G with K10Stat? Can anyone who uses these tell me their experiences? Thanks i5-2520m with HD3000 A6 3420m with 6520G A8 3520m with 6620G i5-3360m with HD4000 |

All intel solutions - not worth even looking at if the things goes around gamming, even bf 2 engine.

I occasionally try playing on a i3-2310m with HD3000. The processor can handle PR just fine, but you get huge dips of bottleneck due to the shared memory constraints. So you'll be playing at 20-40fps, and then suddenly for 10-15 seconds it'll dive to sub-15fps, making it unplayable for the duration, and then return to regular FPS.
I do not regard the HD3000 as playable due to the memory allocation [VRAM] issues. |

You better wait for a trinity iGPU now, since they just got released for laptops, like the HD 7660G, which is basically similar to a desktop HD 6670 1GB (DDR3 version).

I already ended up buying the i5-2520m with HD3000 due to the ability to run virtual machines.
I'll lock this thread. |
