Preliminary tests show no lag at all so far. I will be working hard to ensure this continues to be the case. Because of the way the vegetation is placed and the fact that the statics are spread out it should mean there is no major strain put on the system. Ramiel puts a lot of strain on because there are so many statics in one area; all those statics and their lightmaps can hit a system pretty hard.

Dr_Rank I must say, this map is amazing, I was asked over 100 times to get people into testing so they could play this map, and now with this weekend of a server hosting it 24/7 is just amazing. Ill be gathering a OpReal squad togather to come and play some tactical Project Reality, Hope I see you there.

Wow, that does look amazing.
I hope there will be enough transport vehicles (even if they're just bikes, etc) as it looks like a huge map and I wouldn't like to walk across that! |
