You read they were in team 2 i guess, in the same team as e.g. the US, UK etc. However, on some maps they can also switch to team 1, the team of MEC and PLA. Earlier people thought that a faction could only be in EITHER team 2 or 1, but it seems it can be in both, which means they can fight whoever the mapper wants (for now chechen rebels aka militia only. Later possibly Bundeswehr, PLA and others).
