I'm not going to comment on the camo patterns just yet, You'll all hear an update sometime in the future. What I can say is what you saw in the video was a mix up. Not a bug...just a mix up.

So did you add a few fields and trees out of bounds to break up the edge of the map and make it feel a lot bigger, kind of like the valley is huge and you are only fighting in part of it, or does it just stop really obviously with a wall of trees and then nothing after it like the other maps?

All it needs is a couple of fields, some trees and the occasional building. Not much detail at all, and even less as you go further away from the main area.

Best post ever made!

I'm under the watchful eye of Rhino, you should not be worried about such things...this map wont be released half assed :-p

If you were a player of the early version, so much has changed and been improved that you cant really take that map for what will be released.

Impressive. I can see a squad moving down a mountian side... right into a deployed saw with a spotter. lol Very impressive. Good luck.

From the 'watchful eye of rhino' came many many maps where the statics just stop.

It is not a little thing when you can look from any mountain and see a lush valley with roads, fields, trees and houses. Instead of the crap that just stops, you look one way and see a great map, but out of the corner of your eye you see a huge grassy plain and roads just ending for no reason. And it is crap.

Make absolutely sure the roads and statics carry on, otherwise it just doesn't work when you are on the mountains. The performance cost is well worth it for a map of this size.

I really like these Afghanistan maps.

I don“t know who made Operation Archer but what i thought was really a great pitty about it is that the weapon cashes were only in very few parts of the map.

Huge parts of the map were without action guaranteed because no weapon cashes spawned there.

Now the only thing I ask for is a large spread of cashed so that everyone will eventually see all the detailed work you put in the map.

Keep up the good work man
