well in the file system the called is called chhmg_kord ie, Chinese hmg kord

Weird. I havn't read anything about the Chinese using the Kord. They have their own machine guns like 77SiCaRiO77 mentioned. Giving the Kord to MEC would make sense since they already uses it in-game (the MG on the vodniks, T90s and Mi-8s used by MEC are Kords).

Don't worry about it. You're right, the MEC one will have a KORD on it and the Chinese counterpart will be the same one that's mounted on the Nanjing. The NVST is actually a file that is not used at all in BF2 (as far as I've seen) despite the fact that it comes with the game. That said, the NVST should be slapped on top of the T80U @ Ruski Devs

I thought the problem with these kind of things is that the weapon remains after the 'structure' is destroyed. How did you overcome that?

doing testing in the editor it seems fine so far but I've done no testing ingame as of yet but this has been setup differently from a sandbag with a child MG on it.
