bullpup rifles = overall shorter length as the barrel is still the same length, but the barrel is more in the main body of the rifle since the mag feed is at the back.

with a normal rifle, the mag feed is in the middle, which means to have the same length barrel you need to have a rifle with a overall much longer length.

now this causes problems like not being able to use the weapon as effectively in tight spaces, but one advantage over a bullpup design as pointed out due to the overall longer length, you have a longer reach with your bayonet which you dont have with a bullpup.

Go to their knives section. Ask. Then realized I saved you some effort.
Trying to argue with Combat Veteran with experience with knives is like arguing with an NBA star on how to play basketball, when all you play is soccer. You just don't....

Anyways, can we melee AND shoot with the bayonet attached?

If its not a stage photo, then the German has the modern German flag on his arm which would make him Bundeswehr but the uniform itself look to be more cold war east German. The helmet looks like WWII German but I don't recognize the symbol. The AK would play along to an eastern German soldier. Thats all i got.. but he's not a Nazi.

I have heard several stories of troops operating with fixed bayonets, and using them...

as I posted in my first post, this will only be used as a combat knife, not as a bayonet unless we have a bunch of animators joining the team

Yet, I know what I'm talking about. It's vestigial on all modern knives. Combat vet or not, it's simple.

Hopefully in the future we'll see this for the UK faction in-game. By far the most unique looking bayonet I've seen so far.
