Hi I'm new to project reality and I must say it's by far one of the best games I've ever played. I'm not too familiar with the differences between MP and SP just yet so please be patient with me.
How can I use the suicide truck on sp? Is there a particular map for it? How do I know where it is on the map? How can I request artillery? Are there alternatives like mortars or katyusha rockets? or JDAMs? How can I get a bot to fly an apache for me while I shoot? It get's difficult sometimes to fly an aircraft with a bot. All I can do is sit in the gunner's seat and weight for a bot to spawn and join me. I would appreciate if you could answer any of my questions, thankyou. |

1 - As far as I know Suicide Trucks are only available on Insurgency. Co-Op ony has AAS. So no Trucks there. If you want to practice with them or so, you can always create a local server, running Insurgency gamemode.
2 - You, as a Squadleader, have to put a marker on your desired target, then the commander (your team needs a commander for this) has to approve. There are different types of artillery. On larger maps, the organized armies get the common artillery strike. Insurgents and militia get mortar-strikes. Also, there's a JDAM. Just look for the small symbols when the map loads. 3 - Can't say anything about this. E: Just jump into the chopper and press F2? |

Thankyou for your response deathstar.
Just a couple more questions: 1) How exactly does an officer who is a leader of a squad request artillery? Does he just put an enemy forces marker? 2)Can the commander issue artillery without anyone requesting it? How? and If not, how does a commander respond to a request for artillery? As for the pilot thing, I wanted to know if there was a way to have bots automatically join you in an aircraft. i.e after I press f2 and enter the gunner seat, I still have to wait for a bot to come and fly the plane, this can take a long time or might never happen. I appreciate your response |

1) How exactly does an officer who is a leader of a squad request artillery? Does he just put an enemy forces marker?
-Become SL -Select Radio -Put Radio to ear (click) -Q and "Request Artillary" or something like that 2)Can the commander issue artillery without anyone requesting it? How? and If not, how does a commander respond to a request for artillery? no, when an SL calls for it, it will show on his commander hud as the yellow flashing artillery symbol. he then should right click it, and select "allow" then, the artillery will launch As for the pilot thing, I wanted to know if there was a way to have bots automatically join you in an aircraft. i.e after I press f2 and enter the gunner seat, I still have to wait for a bot to come and fly the plane, this can take a long time or might never happen. i dont think you can get them to join you automatically, i usually fly it next to a group of bots (preferably squadmembers), get in gunner seat, then say "jump in" |

To get a bot in your chopper, just land beside one and use the commo rose to tell them to "get in". Doesn't matter which squad the bot is in. You can switch seats when the bot is in.
You also have to watch which chopper you take, they aren't all the same. Some are tailored to SP, some not. I don't which is is which yet, but having a bot in one chopper it spams out hellfires 8 or so at a time, and in another it's just one missile at a time. Flight characteristics also seem to differ from chopper to chopper, but not completely sure on that one. Furthermore, bots are terrible pilots. If you want to live and just have some gunner practice, set bot difficulty to 10 and mod out all AA vehicles in a map. Also if you are Squad leader and tell them to move somewhere on the map, they won't. They just fly to a certain flag and hover/fly around it. |

I agree with what you said about the bots being terrible pilots. I think the devs really need to work on this. | ||

Just because coop is aas doesnt mean there aren't any bomb trucks, it is easy to put a bomb truck in sp, of course if you do you would have to create it in a pr submod.
