Coop - Becoming SL of Bot squad

Dear All,

move this if it is in the wrong area of the forums.

I am unable to become SL of a squad full of bots in the new Coop mode. I get an ingame message asking me to press pageup if I want to be SL but it never works.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

This is a bug from where BF2 was patched to 1.5, it effects all BF2 mods.

SP Co-op (LAN) - I've read the manual a couple times and I cannot figure out how step by step how to get Artillery / Area Attack. I use the LT. kit with the radio and set the distance then I use the binoculars to request an LGB or LGM but then no response from the commander, is there a commander in the SP Co-op (LAN) version?

1.5 patch broke the bot commander artillery.

If you want to lead a bot-squad, create a new squad and invite bots to it. They'll join you, regardless if they're in a squad or not.

(SP Co-op) Just to clarify BF 1.5 patch has disabled the bot commander from issuing artillery in SP Co-op mode even if I am squad leader? If so, when will this be fixed?

Second can I use artillery in SP Co-op if I command the bot team?

Unfortunately, you can't use artillery in 'pure sp' anymore, you need one human player to spot, one human player to be commander.

It sucks that the simplest things get screwed with a new 'patch', but that's beyond our control.

Sorry for the sligh hijack, but for the life of me, I cant get bots on my team X'D Tried it a few times but couldnt get it to work.

You just create a squad and then click manage squad. Invite whatever PRSP names there are and voila you have a squad!

Apparently, lead is not good for you if ingested, at any velocity. And whilst I'm here, you're not a PC and Windows 7 wasn't your idea, live with it!!!
