To be honest you say that you live in London we only get really good pings in europe and the USA. But i'm sure there would probably be takers for the northern hemisphere vs the southern hemisphere so you could play against other guys. Also you can still play on public servers with other people but i just think that the pings and the times make community events more accessible for everyone as you can play 2 on 1 night. Maybe if you were willing to play at a good time for Australians say 7pm their time 4/5am ours then maybe an exception could happen but how many ppl want to get up at 5am? Not many that i know. So i think that playing with euro and US guys would be your best bet.
