Ok map is located at:
[url]www.tacteam.org/downloads/helmand_v2_public.zip[/url] I'll get the server started so you can test it. Also - I suggest you all refrain from putting SPACES in your file and folder names. The webserver is Linux and it doesn't like it! It's also bad practice. I recommend you rename any files/folders already on there. |

There's been no feedback since my last post, and nobody's bothered to connect and ensure the map is ok.
I assume that public play will not be happening now? |

Map is OK, public play can happen but the announcement will be kinda fast since I forgot to post it on Friday :( hopefully with 5 days there will be enough time for everyone to come play.
Do server details remain the same? |

Looks like there's been minimal interest in public play this week. Looking at the logs, there's been about 10-15 people on since Monday - and not at the same time!
I suggest we shut the server down, and plan something else, perhaps with a bit more notice. Comments? |

There has been a lack of advertisement of this IMO, a post in general discussion isn't enough, for Desert Rats we had the main page.
Also, nice one on [R-DEV]epoch. |

Ok. I think if publicised effectively a lot of people can have a lot of fun on this map.
I'm going to stop the server for now. In any case, I need to set up the PRT server for Saturday (shares the same CPU core as the Comm server), and I'm away Sat/Sun so I need to get it sorted today really. Probably best that we re-advertise for another time. |

WELL as I said these need to be advetised passed about and given time to gather intrest.... they need to be admined and organised......
These need to be planned not just thrown on, i will continue to help on this project but there is a lack of direction at the moment. for example when is the next map? when is it ready when will we test it? what additional art work sign ect ect have been added? ect ect ect? |

Or make public play a must after the first match, advertise it along with the match 3 weeks beforehand and kill two birds with one stone.
