Mappers: Interesting Faction Pairs?

Sure, there's U.S. - Insurgents, PLA, and MEC.
And GB - Militia, Insurgents, etc.

But how about more interesting pairs, like U.S. - GB, U.S. - U.S. or Militia - Insurgency? Obviously, the events would be more fiction than fact - but doesn't PR give us a prime opportunity to try various things that wouldn't happen in real life?

USA - GB in a modified Kashan could feasibly be a battle in a resource war, if North and South Bunkers are converted into North and South Oil Wells, or even left as-is and renamed to fuel dumps.

Militia - Insurgents, I think, would really be fun to play. Both of these teams hamstrung by inadequate supplies - forced to survive through grit and determination alone rather than close air support or armor overwatch. I'm imagining an African city set up like the Vanilla Warlord map - perhaps for only 16-32 players to justify a mostly small-arms battle.

The Militia would perhaps be structured around a palace lifted from the Warlord map, with pre-built fortifications around the guard post and the entryways. Their objective would be foremost to hold the palace and secondly to capture somewhere between 3-5 caches. Holding the palace, I expect, would be relatively easy if they weren't also looking for caches. Depending on the map's general flow this might be an interesting map. Any mapper making something like this would of course leave lots of back alleys too thin for vehicles, and roof access like Muttrah.

Militia:
1 APC
4 Jeeps
1 GP Trucks

Insurgency:
3 Jeeps
1 GP Truck
2 Motorcycles
2 Suicide Cars

This is something we are discussing, and was tried before, but had a few code conflicts, but it is possible for the future

i was thinking maybe that we could have a 1980s Russia vs Taliban fight on operation archer. think that would be pretty neat once the Russians are released. 8)
