First of all, thank to those involved for the time and effort in the setting up and admining of the event. I had an entertaining round.

But, as in comparision with previous events this TBH it just felt like a normal pub round of fallujah, no real intersquad co-ordnation etc.

The first 3 comm matches i played in were really well organised in terms of planning and having the ability to plan, with more time for prematch organisation, a private place in which to do it and game modes that rewarded planning more.

Seconded.

The signing up thing should be sorted to, if you sign up and don't show up you without prior warning you should only be able to be a reserve for the next match, and if it happens again be banned from the next match or two.

People not turning up on TS also doesn't help with organisation, as it was insurgnecy 10 minutes at the start of the round could have solved alot of issues, but there were only about 10 people in there.

I understand that its meant to be a fun match, but at the same time the matches are meant to offer a bit more co-ordination and planning than normal pub games. No one wants training etc, but people not confirming that they're turning up and the uncertainty this created meant we didn't even have squads sorted or assets assigned.

I only came in half way through, but that technical charge was fun, lucky humvees with their front armour plate. Though did love when i go to pick up a squadi but as i get there us squad attack him, just rammed into them, nothing else i could do apart from die in a car.

Anyways, was alot better on Insurgency gamemode but the round definatley was not that great. Team list was put up not telling anyone, then only given two days to prepare. map was only released the day before so no one could plan in the map with their own squads. We had to set up squads on the fly or with ppl we knew and were on our side.

Half the ppl ddnt show, half the reserves ddnt show and even just grabbing stragglers ddnt fill it up. Was fun to win a comm match for once but round 2 was horribly managed and set up.

This was after he'd switched to the US side.

Was a cool game I had fun although it did just feel like a pub round tbh especially as I was only drafted in 15mins before it started

Dedicated team forums would probably have been a help, the lack of organisation was painfully obvious in the US teams early manouvres as they were easily dispatched by us insurgents. A Bradley driving directly down the main highway with no support is a dead Bradley...

Team Forums would have been helpfull like you point out, but they wouldnt have helped us that much this time around since we only got the map 1 day in advance. So thats also a point we can improve on I'd say.

Bradley btw didnt got destroyed on the highway. I had some plans for early game and it was succesfully executed for 40% I'd say. the rest of the squads kinda stuck in main instea of securing said highway and area around the base.

The above to show that there is some planning possible in a small time limit.

I was in that bloody thing as a passenger and knew you were there with the RPGs, our SL had asked the brad to go round, but the driver wasn't listening/co-operating.

Part of the reason i didn't enjoy it as much as I could have was the fact that everyone could hear your orders for the start of the round, and a good number of people just ignored them. The comm matches used to be one of the places you could get people listening to the CO outside of the tourney and it didn't seem to be happening today.

Difficult to tell entirely though from my perspective as I was only filled in as SL for a brief part of the game and a grunt for the rest.
