Leaving the UN vehicles on for the public play was a bad idea, everyone flew and drove in the UN Merlin and SUV because they both needed a tank brigade to kill them and the Merlin has no heat signature.

Although the Objective Markers themselves don't exactly pose to much of a purpose on a Public server. They are intresting.

What I do like is the fact that the map actually shows you the "Sphere of Influence" in color around the capture diameter of the flag. The "Sphere of Influence" should have always been indicated on any map to help identify Objective Zones. Very useful. Guess we'll have to add that to the "things to do" list.

Although, as for the environment... I find it intresting how the sun is rising/setting in the north. Seems PR takes place on an identical planet to ours in a parallel universe.

People were just flying/driving them around aimlessly. Took 3 direct tank shots to take an SUV out *proving how safe judges would be during matches* and at least last night there was alot of camping of the US main. I cant go about the teamkilling because im guilty of it in that server, no match was being taken seriously so we was just having fun. However that quad bike needs some work too. I was in a Merlin and a friend rammed me as i was revving up and he blew my chopper up and lived in the process.

I apologise for the lack of Admins, there was a misunderstanding this weekend with this ... thats my fault.


The UN vehicles could have been removed, yes, but that would have meant another Map Audit, and at the moment the R-COM's are working on the Next Maps, and others on .85, so it was left in.


Next time round it will be Matches only, but more regular ones I think?

You could remove the UN vehicles by opening the respective GameplayObjects.con in the server.zip and delete the code lines with Notepad.

You really want 50 odd people messing about with map files?

I was going to come on and admin, but collared into doing to 2D work for a gaming community.

I think UKF has a good idea, more regular matches to allow this to be played, but with a bit of organisation.

Just add Kashan v2 for 0.85. Where's the difficulty? I could do it myself with the BF2 editor in 20-25 minutes, not counting the half hour I'd take to consult some DEVs about the new asset layout.

In other words, I kindly suggest that you just convert it for public play and release it with the patch. The R-Commies shouldn't even be involved in that aspect of it (not counting the Rats auditor).
