Problems playing PR

Hello,

I am having problems playing PR. This is my first download of PR. I am currently running windows xp. My battlefield 2 (retail version) has been patched to 1.41 and currently works.

I downloaded both the core files and level files, and installed. (I also made sure i had the latest patch). The game runs fine through the start-up, login, and server list. I can then select a server and load the game. The problem starts at the end of loading, or sometimes when i click "join game," where the game automatically crashes to the desktop.

Anyone have suggesstions of how to fix this? it seems like a cool mod to play

it is man !! if ur having a CTD (crash to desktop) and it actuely happens upon joining ! hmm .. Try To Update PB ! there are multiple stickes on this section

check em out and update and see what happens ...

PB shouldnt be a problem since it is updated as i play CoD4 often, but ill try it anyways.

EDIT: crashed again after re-installing PB. I tried to connect to a patched server, which should have worked, but still crashed.

PB for COD4 is different !! uuh, u should update not reinstall PB , update by using the PB setup ! download it from HERE

ok, I'll give that a go..

still crashed to desktop when the server was done loading, but thanks for your help so far
