vista problem

ok my friend is running 32 bit vista and everytime he tries to load a server it gets to 15% and then CTD's. He has already tried to run it as admin and has downloaded sp1 but that didnt help. Reg battlefield 2 and a couple other mods work but not Pr wuts up? He already turned off UAC.
