PunkBuster Crap !!

hello everyone !
this piece of crap software is just so annoying !!
everytime i finaly get myself in a spot i get kicked for the same error !

punkpusterb.exe handshaking failed , i already searched the forums and nothing helped ... what i do to temporarily fix it is test the serves from the pbsvc and run the service on my windows xp again ... it works for a game or so but when i join again , the whole service in my windows is gone ! which makes me do the same thing over and over again !

i had my firewall turned off at first , i turned it on and added punkbuster to the allow list , and same thing ... i am using a router and running wireless with no probs in game ...

please guys i wanna finish this problem and get it done with

PunkBuster Online Countermeasures.

Maybe doing a manual update will help you out. Had a few people with a simular problem and the manual update seemed to work. Check out the above link. Hope that helps.
