What Type of Video card do i need for PR?

yea, what type of video card do i need for PR. Because when i make my own game (on like local) and i start to play it either exists out of the game or restarts my computer. DO i need a better vid. card? Or is there some other problem?

Mine is doing the same thing but I doubt it's your video card (especially if it worked fine on vanilla)

Try to reinstall like I am doing now.

To answer your question, I run it on a geforce fx5500 and it runs smoothly (on low settings but still smoothe)

carld i reinstalled it but now it says i have the wrong destop icon? it says i have to start (or something else) with the PR.exe not bf2.exe

Ah thats only a small problem. Right click on your PR shortcut and select proprities. make sure that this:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

is in the box labeled target. PR runs on PR.exe and not BF2.exe. Its a simple problem and easy to fix. Just make sure you use the proper shortcut.

Also local in PR is quite buggy and doesnt work for alot of people.

to answer your question bf2 requires a video card capable of pixel shader 1.4 with 128 mb, as it states on the back of the cd case
