Re: Tons of Crash To Desktop.

Usual solution is: get 4GB (if you don't already), delete your entire profile (Battlefield 2 folder in "My Documents") and set textures to medium.
Solved all my lag and CTD problems.

(X2 6000, 4GB, 8800GTS 320MB, 1680x1250, Vista 32, all high except textures to medium, 4xaa)

i got 2 8800 GTS 640Megs,4 Gig of Crucial running at 1Ghz,AMD 6000+ 2x3.2Ghz, 10K rpm HDD... so i cant accept to run the game on "medium" setting. It is just, so ugly.

I update my Nvidia driver to 175.13, i change my graphic setting ingame, i update punkbuster, i also done the fix give by user ( Font file...).. i try every thing they suggest me.

If you running your (8800gts ?) cards in SLI the video ram does not double it stays at
640,just the way it works.Same with the crossfire.Anyhow that (640mb) should be
enough.

PR doesn't care about your rig and CTD anyway.

Re: Tons of Crash To Desktop.

i'm running XP64, 1GB gfx, 4 GB RAM - CTD at the beginning - now it's stable.
also had CTDs under 0.75 - very strange.
