Problem after downloading the Core

Hello again! I just downloaded the core for PR (the levels are downloading as I type), and when I tried to run it, Windows apparently could not identify the file type, and asked me to select a program from a list to run it. I naturally assumed that I would simply use Windows installer to run the setup, but I could not find it. This is unusual, because I haven't seen any other threads about this problem.

I tried updating Windows installer, but I'm not sure that did any good.

Can someone give me a solution for this problem? I was thinking that simply a file directory to Windows Installer would be sufficient. Perhaps I have to wait for the levels to finish downloading? As you can see, I am pretty confused about this whole thing, and I have taken to playing Vanilla (...) in the meantime. Any help is greatly appreciated!

possibly wrong or corrupted file download
where did you download it from?

the installer is an exe - an application (pr_0809_core_setup.exe)

you might have to redownload - the Internode link worked fine for me

Thanks! I solved the problem without redownloading.

I downloaded it from Mod DB, and the filename was pr_0809_core_setup. I simply had to change it to pr_0809_core_setup.exe, and it worked fine. A very simple solution, and one I should have tried from the start.
