how do i map my saitek x52 joystick and throttle for this game?

Thats weird...it detects mine(yeah, i have an X52). Keep trying, also go to "control panel/game controllers/properties" and then just check all the controls, make sure the throttle works.

Sinc eyou probably figured it out, in the mean time, check the lower trigger on the stick, it has 2 spots(clicks 2 times) when you pull on it. So for the meantime I sugges that yu make click1(barley pulling) forward thrust, and click2(pulling back all the way) is Afterburner, until you get this figured out that should be a comfortable substitute for the W key for now.

It detects everything perfectly fine in the Game Controllers but it still doesnt work in game. And thanks for the suggestion but i dont really want a substitute, i just wanna get this figured out.

Okay, calm down(just kidding) well I don't have a substitute for you other than that...i could think of sime but you don't want any.

This happened to me before with the X52 and i solved the problem, but then I was banned from the forums so I wouldn't be able to tell you sorry. I just made a new account so that I could get a tech problem worked out considering that I cannot play PR rgith now.

Do you have more than one joystick plugged in? BF2 will only identify two controllers, if you have more than that (ie gamers keyboard, gamepad, etc) then more than likely your problem is that. And, I did post a new X52 profile a few days ago in this forum subsection.
