BF2 Memory Error on Connect Win XP

Hi guys,

i downloaded PR today and trying to play since 5h.
But everytime i try to connect on a server i get this error message:

BF2 Memory Error
memory.dll: thread 3888 is deallocating main thread memory

I have Win XP with all updates and servicepacks, BF2 is up to date and working fine.

Please help me to enjoy this mod, which seems to be great.

What settings are your textures on?

If on High try Medium, if on Medium try Low

i have everything on high, and 8x AA.

setting textures on medium doesn't help.

Samo problem here, just with vista..

i donr have a connecting problem my problem is the is not leting me load the game is said "staticmesh.fx(2):errorX1507:failed to open source file:'mods/xpack/shaders/datat/pes.fx' does any1 knows how to fix this play help me

O/S,
systems specks,
network setup
And a brief history before and after problem started.

Try running your desktop at the highest resolution your video card can put out. Run PR the same, turn off AA
If problem persists drop light settings to medium.
Review the tweak guide for more ideas.

I think you can fix it without reinstalling 'levels':
Look in your pr folder for the zip file named:
'shaders_client'
Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr
Copy the folder to your clipboard (Ctrl +c)
find the folder inside the bf2 mod folder named: 'xpack'
Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack
Open xpack
Paste the zip 'shaders client' from your clipboard into it (Ctrl+v)
That's it
Restart PR
Should work now
