Frozen on Deploy Screen

New problem for me after fixing a few other issues with Pb.
I can load the levels fine, connections ok etc, and I get to the deploy screen with choose kit and squad options.
But...the mouse pointer freezes up, completely.
I can still see action going off in game but I can't select kit,spawn or anything but Alt,F4.
Needless to say after fixing everything else I'm a little frustrated so any tips would be most welcome.

P.s no error messages seem to be involoved

This might sound stupid, but check you controls, for some reason for me sometimes all my controls get deleted meaning I can't do anything.

Well ok that worked just fine, all the controls had been deleted somehow just like ye said.
In short, Thanks TheScot666 temples will be raised in thy name and many small furry animals shall be sacrificed etc etc
