Nothing but a crash when i press setup.exe

I run vista
On the new release when i double click the core setup the mouse does the thinking animation and then when it would normally come up with UAC(on other apps.) nothing happens the blue circle just keeps spinning.
If i launch it from explorer like in my documents windows explorer freezes then crashes when i try and close it and if its launched from desktop nothing happnes.
Any help would be much appreciated.

ps. sometimes programs take like 5mins to show the UAC box but it won't come up at all on this.

I know i will have to wait for this, but being able to recieve the files as files not .exe would probably fix the problem(at least i think.)

EDIT: currently starting a fresh download in the hope it will help

I seem to have the same problem. Right clicking and then running it as admin doesn't work either.

Edit, turned off uac and rebooted.. well not really turned off but it should allow when you run as administrator without giving you the popup. Still doesn't work that way anyways.
Edit 2, what the hell am i saying, sure it is. Patience seems to pay off for me.

Same problem, usually with files this large it seems to take a while for the actual installer to pop up, but this one took a long time, so I restarted and am going to try again.

Edit: Nevermind, popped up after about 5 minutes.

yeah my first set of files didn't work after leaving for 1.5hours but 2nd set did after about 3mins. So sorted
