Re: controls laging

hmmmm.... still doing it. it was running just fine before this week. i dont want to turn down the anti aliasing because i like my pretty grafix. what else could it be, anymore suggestions? my computer has the hardware to run it in high. i run games that are more system hogs than pr in high and they all run just fine.

Try going into the control panel of your graphics card and look for the "Frames Render Ahead" option. It wil lbe defaulted to 3. If you are using the 8800 you mention and the latest drivers it should be there. Change it to 1 or 2 and try PR. Some games dont like it set to 1 but try both and see if it makes a difference, it did for me.

Oh and make sure you have transparent antialaising turned off in the CP as well as that is a frame killer with grass and trees ect.

Re: controls laging

i just tried turning it to 1 and it helped a bit but not much. it is not the game laging, it is running at 40-50 fps most of the time. it is my controls being delayed. so its not anything with the graphics i dont think.

Re: controls laging

What the render ahead part does is the card uses memory to store 3 frames of graphic info before passing on to process so causing a delay in mouse movement as the info is being buffered and not going straight to be processed. Try 2 as well and even 0 and see what happens.

Also did you turn Antialaising transparency off? I get a huge jump in frames per second and smoothness in mouse movement with it off in Pr and that is with 2 8800GT's in Sli.

If all else fails try a reinstall to see if that helps as you mentioned your other games are fine and that you have done virus checks, mal ware checks ect.
