PR Crashes on Server Join, Help?

Hello, i recently downloaded the PR 0.75 both core and levels files. Installed them and tryed the mod out on local server. Everythings fine. Next i wanted to try the mod out on multiplayer, but every time i press join server project reality crashes. Maybe the problem is my cpu? Its really slow: 2 cpu's 1.6ghz. Help me ASAP please, NICE MOD IF I COULD PLAY IT ONLINE!

make sure you have the current PR version (0.756 - in the game menu it will say 0.755 though, its a bug)

try the stuff mentioned in this thread: http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-...-hit-join.html

summary
- try cleaning your local bf2 profile (cache)
- make sure pb is up-to-date
- make sure gfx drivers are up-to-date

maybe a reinstall of bf2 and pr could help too (check my sig for a link to a detailed guide)

Run the FULL 1.41 bf2 patch
Turn down your video card settings to all low to start.
Set your audio to Hardware in game to lighten the load on your underpowered cpu.

Read the bf2 tweak guide for getting the most out of what you got. (game and system)

Did you install the single player by mistake?

Section 6: PROJECT REALITY SINGLE PLAYER

The Single Player element of the Project Reality mod is not incorporated within the mod. Project Reality is primarily a multilayer game, single player is an add on that you have to download and setup separately.This can frustrate users because this leads to Crashes to the Desktop (known as CTDs).
Never hurts to review 'Project Reality Detailed Installation Guide'
