Reality Mod Breaks BF2

I just installed the Project reality mod a few days ago and ive been having a blast! I've run into an issue where whenever I play this mod even once, then i return back to the original BF2, it will not let me join any server because it says that I have modified BF2 content and must revert back to the original. What I did was I reinstalled the 1.41 patch again and that seemed to fix it. Well, today I played PR again and right now I am trying to play BF2 but it gives me the same error message regardless of what server I join. Does anyone know how to fix this or why this is happening?

How do you quit PR? Do you click "exit"?

Dont know if that is the reason, but I know that if you dont exit using the exit button, that it leaves certain PR shaders loaded up or something[?]

Something to that effect...

Maybe try loading up a singleplayer match of vBF2 and then exit that, then try to join a server? Or maybe join a singleplayer match, then quit, then restart bf2 and try loading a server... Those are my 'guesses'

Hope it helps or someone else has better answers :P

Thanks, that seemed to fix the issue. I used to just alt+f4 at the server screen when i was done but i guess hitting the exit button wont be any tougher.

Yeah, its something to do with unloading/loading shaders. When you just close out without going to Exit, it doesn't have time to unload the PR shaders, making your bf2 still use them. So when you quit, if you're gonna play vBF2 after, make sure you go through the Exit button first :P
