Ranking

Does anyone know anything about the ABR Ranking system, PALEEEESSSSS.

No seriously, I have just about got the whole clan convinced to go 100 % PR, we really appreciate your hard work. MAsterX over at GraBtech has suspended our rankings, he does not like PR, I'll never let anyone have that much control over us again, so we would like a ranking system, I know that ABR sort of died by the wayside, but there are some people still using it.

We had it on our server for the first couple months but ABR is so up and down that it makes your server VERY unstable. We had to remove it for this reason because it became very annoying to have it crash every other round if not sooner. I'm not sure if ABR is gonna be supported on 0.8 or not either. Maybe someone in the know can answer that for you.

Have you tried VSStats, at least Myxo was using it?

Thanks for the feedback gents, gotta tell ya we have been without stats now for 5 days and the server is picking up steam, maybe stats free is the way to go, but I will check out the VS Stats. The PR mod for us is so hot that we are thinking about shutting the EA Ranked server down.

I know something about ranking in general. Don't waste time on it.

I hear ya, we run two Official ranks servers, one stock, one SF, the first two years it was great but then the stats padders got in there, and the hackers, the whole ball of crap, but, the general audience of PR seems to be much more professional, we are hoping that it will work out.

Hey that VSStats looks good, you know any review/comment/experiences about it?

ABR works oddly, like not remembering your stats when you come in a server.

Is it worth using abr, or should i start looking on vsstats?

Guys really it's not a joke. Don't invest your time on ranking and such stuff it's one of the most useless things ever and especially for PR.
