Mainerror: Are you suggesting that devs are going to completely remove scoring and rank in PR? I certainly hope that is not the case.

Stats are important to many. They are a great way of measuring progress and give a sense of achievement. BF2 would not have been as popular as it is without stats.

Ranks, not so important, but I like to see my progress measured in numbers and so do our players.

I know that many of the players on our servers play specifically because they see value in the numbers.

I disagree, sure scores are fun, but I really doubt there are many players playing PR for stats, players like that leave fast. I always wait for the next round to begin to get have some more fun, scores are just bonus and won't even show your real skills, it really depends what kit you play, and how. Defensive or offencive.

Well, I think for our clan it will be fun to have a running tally. We have a friendly competitive thing going on...so I think it is more something we want for ourselves. I mean, I barely look at my score at the end of a round. But to be able to poke harmless fun at a clanmate for passing them by on the scoreboard is TOTALLY worth it to me...lol.

Don't see the point for stats really for PR, which is a mod all about teamwork. Who cares about points when most people just play for fun. Well thats just my opinion on it.

I loved when stats came to BF1942, but absolutely hated the stats in BF2 because of rank. Stats are cool, ranks aren't. Too many point whores out there for that. I just like seeing how I am doing compared to the buddies i play with. So stats on a server to server basis would be best IMO.
