BF2 PRM in Vista 64bit ..... FAIL!

Hi, all.

Problem:
The PRM not run in Windows Vista 64bit.

• BF2 in Vista 64bit ..........,,,.. Success!
• BF2 PRM in Vista 64bit ........... Fail!

When I open PRM.exe file, this message highlight my screen:

"You must run this executable as an Administrator due to a bug in Windows. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q303437/: Access is denied."

Operational Sistem:

• Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit + updates.

My computer:

• Athlon 64 X2 5000+
• Evga 8800GTS 320/320
• 6GB OCZ Platinium

Can you help me?

Right click and select Run as administrator on PRM.exe?

what is PRM? i have vista 64 bit, maybe i can help.

vista is a fail itself , btw friend of mine had same problem i think you run it as admin right?

PR runs flawlessly on Vista 64 and does not ever require administrator rights.

What is your start command in PR short cut?

Same here - Vista Business 64, admin account, UAC disabled.

PR needs admin rights. Otherwise Punkbuster will kick you due to a "Comfail" or "Inadequate OS Privileges". (not always but sometimes it will )

Back to topic: try to reinstall PR and BF2...then it should work. I had the same problem and after reinstalling everything was fine.

right click on the icon you use to start up pr choose properties then in the window that opens click on compatibilty tab at the top then tick run this program as administrator then hit ok and all should be good then

PRM = Project Reality Mod, brother.

Start in: "H:\Battlefield 2"
