I can't see any servers

Hi all,

I just downloaded

1)battlefield 2
2)The update to v1.41
3)The core files for pr
4)The levels
5) The new patch for pr to .75

When I try to play an internet game I don't see a single server however when I play BF2 I see all of the servers. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Edit: I can see the servers, but it says that I'm running an older version. What gives I downloaded everything?

(Un) check "Ranked" in the game browser options

Did you download both core and levels? Project Reality : Battlefield 2 Mod - Mod Files

Wait a sec, if you install the core and levels now, I don't think you need to patch, the patch is only for players from before 0.75 was released and 0.7 was the standard.

I guess the patch makes it go wierd if its not needed?

It says on the wiki page to do it in the order I listed above. I will go ahead and try what you are talking about Dr2b Rudd tommorow. Hope it works.

Check "same version" in the game browser options and
you should be all set (no more red servers)

Dr2B Rudd is right you don't need the patch
(PR v0.7 to PR v0.756)
unless you have PR v0.7 installed.

So today I installed:

Battlefield 2
update 1.41
Pr Core v0.756
Pr levels v0.756

When I check "same version" box it shows no servers when it's unchecked it shows all of the servers but they are all red.

If your install is good
(check your levels folder in pr for "battle_for_qinling" and "Fools road")
Path Vista:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels
(for XP lose the(x86))


Then it might be a firewall issue.
Once in awhile the same thing happens to me.
No pr servers
uncheck "same version" and
bingo servers(for bf2) show up.
Check "same version' poof! servers gone.
If I Alt + Tab to the desktop(keeps PR running in the background) and manually turn off my firewall,
when I go back to the game browser,
surprise!!
PR servers are back!

What I do, when I log in and no servers show, is quit and restart pr.
Almost always it fixes it.
Check your firewall.

PS I'm using AVG internet security v8.0 and
like it for the most part.
