Play nomal BF2 online with PR innstalles??

Yeah, as the title says I`ve innstalled PR but when i want to play the normal game online it says that the server dosent accsept modifyed content??

What shall I do????

Start PR, exit it normally using the button Exit game and try again.

If it won't help delete everything inside My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache directory.

It sounds like you need to update punkbuster manually. Or, are you trying to start a regular vanilla bf2 game from pr?
For pr games you need to start with the pr icon, and for vanilla you need to start with the regular bf2 icon.
Also, ingame make sure to have same version only and same mod ticked.

Have done that but the same happens ??? ill try agian but please more suggestion...

But deleting the Cache Directory wont that damage the mod??

No, it'll just take longer to load a map next time you join a server (the "Optimizing Shaders" thing like if you change your video settings).

Go to Battlefield 2 folder/mods/bf2 and write here the file size of shaders_client.zip

So if I have this right, you can start PR fine but when you go to start reg.BF2 from your bf2 shortcut,your getting this
error:
"server doesn't accept modified content"

Is that before or after you log in ?

Is your BF2 a downloaded version?

DO you have your bf2 browser set for "same version only"?

You have run the Full 1.41 patch right?

I believe it has to do with the shaders inside your bf2 mod directory.

You'l have to get your hands on someones 'shaders_client.zip' in the mod/bf2 folder (who hasnt installed pr) and replace that folder everytime you want to play PR or vanilla. Its the only way you can play vanilla, if you try and play PR with the folder replaced you wont get the suppression effect and you'l eventually be kicked from the server.
