Play nomal BF2 online with PR innstalles??

No need to get anyone else's files - pr.exe just swaps a few files around and renames them (none are overwritten). That's why I'm asking what's the filesize of the shaders_client.zip.

Guys PR doesn't normally mess up bf2.
I play PR all the time but just to test
I just started bf2 vanilla and it fired up just fine.

If there is a problem it's caused by something else like a installation error
(choosing the wrong folder to install to
or moving files by hand) trying to get PR to work.

My shaders folder in Vista,
Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\shaders

Is EMPTY

The only folder with "shaders" in the name is "shaders_client" and it's a zip file folder inside PR
Vista.
Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\shaders_client.zip


So maybe to fix it you just need to empty the shader folder.(C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\shaders)

Think i found out the problem :P i have changed a ini file :P

But is the PR mod compatible with all the expansion packs??

Last time I checked (about 6 months ago,was drunk) it did work with
ALL the expansions/extensions. I don't have them installed atm

Yes and no

Yes all the expansion packs will not screw up PR

NO you can't play the expansion packs maps with PR


What did you do to fix it?
What ini file?
I know someone else with the same problem (pr runs but bf2 V doesn't)

The reason I asked if you had "same version only" checked in BF2
was to make sure you weren't trying to join PR servers
While running BF2.
