Binocular Problem

I have a 1440x900 widescreen 19" monitor, so I changed my desktop shortcut's settings so it opened in 1440x900. Yay it works. But my binoculars are messed up, not just in PR, in vBF2 also. The binoculars seem to think I'm still in another resolution so they don't cover my whole screen. They look a little something like this:

Re: Binocular Problem

I have this problem too. Google and Download WideScreenFixer. Run that and it should fix that issue, and your overall wide screen resolution quality. Editing the shortcut of BF2 isn't true wide screen, and neither is WideScreenFixer, but it does make it better. Hopefully EA will add wide screen support in the next BF2 patch.

When EA makes a widescreen patch then my 1920 x 1200 with widescreen fixer, will not look like that.
Just gonna have to deal until patch 1.5 comes out.

Widescreen fixer sadly didn't fix the binocular problem.

Re: Binocular Problem

That is known issue which, IIRC, isn't very high at fix priority list.

It's already been fixed for PRv8. Like I said, we beat them to it.
