Start-Up Issue

Hi fellas - recently downloaded PR again after a few months (I had other things to do apparently) and have installed it etc.

It loads up past the BSS screen fine, but at the login screen when I press enter with my details - it comes back after a few minutes with 'Error Binding Socket'.

I've had a quick look round the forums and there doesn't seem to be anything on this, as well as round tinternet. but there is nothing really specific to BF2 in that regard.

Any help appreciated, and if its blindingly obvious tell me

EDIT: And blindingly obvious it was too, as I hadn't played BF2 in a few months, PCFireWallToolsPlus had decided to block it. I had completely forgotten that firewall's mantra of 'Ignorance is Strength'. I added both PR and BF2 back onto the good list and it seems fine.

Sorry for wasting your time.

Yes, thank you - that thread at the top sorted me out. I suffered a CTD without an error message after playing for an hour though.

Yes, my PC has always been rather promiscuous in its affections.
