Crash during launch - video problem
Hi there,
I have all 0.75 files there, was able to play and happy, but... I have changed monitor, and after this I am unable to launch the game. It crashes silently living to the desktop shortly after showing bf2 splash. I have captured error msg in windowed mode: --------------------------- BF2 Error --------------------------- Debug assertion failed! Version: 1.1.2965-797.0 Build date:2006-9-26 18:53 Module: RendDX9 File: D:\Aphrodite\BF2_1.4\Code\BF2\RendDX9\VideoOptions .cpp Line: 234 Text: Unknown DynamicOption value 1360x1024@75Hz Current confile: --------------------------- additional info: monitor is philips 190S - current and correct driver loaded. I was changing resolution several times to see if this will change anything - problem persists (same error msg). How can I fix it? Any ideas? thx in advance |

Delete your video.con in my documents/battlefield 2/profiles/-your name here-.
You will have to redo your video settings though I think. |

try setting your resolution in your shortcut to a standard resolution, then when you have run up the game, set it to one you want.
