Crash to Desktop

So I'm playing on my favorite, low ping, server for much of the night before, first two attempts to join were disconnected due to Punkbuster handshaking failure. Did the little PunkbusterB fix, played for much of the night. Next day, I join the same server, make a squad and am on my way to Sunset City. I make it all the way to the bridge before it crashes to desktop. Anyone know what's going on?

random ctds are a known issue related to the bad bf2 code - it is common but should not happen too often, however ctd ever 60h of gaming i call regular and wouldnt worry about it, since no one except EA can do anything about it (and those suckers WONT!)

if it happens like ever hour or so you could have an overheating problem, check your system's temperatures
