@timo, Alan alda = dude, John C. McGinley = dude, anything to do with startrek (medical dramas eh???!) = epic dudism, Hugh Laurie = epic dude.

not sure what you mean, do you mean as gunner? press f to select the weapon, this will give you a new video interface, C is to zoom. But check out the PR manual that was put on ur desktop when u installed for more details

Arrow Re: Helicopter training need advice

The transport choppers have the keyboard key left "Ctrl"to look left and the left mouse button to look right.
Press both together to look down through the nose window.
Transports don't have the "free mouse look" like the attack choppers do.

Note when you press the left Ctrl your view will go 90 to your left or
270 on your compass all at once without moving the mouse,
however you can continue to pan all the way to 180 with the mouse to look in the back passenger compartment.
SO holding left Ctrl down gives you "free look" 180 degrees on you left not your right. Useful when your loading, but
I doubt you'll make looking at the passenger compartment behind you a habit while your flying.

The right mouse button drops a supply crate.
You must be lower than 20 meters or the crate will be destroyed, forcing you to RTB
to wait 30 or so seconds on the landing pad to reload a new crate.
If you listen carefully you'll hear a click and see the ammo reload icon (3 stacked bullets)
in the upper right side of your screen when you get a new supply crate.

2 supply crates close together (20 meters?) allows a firebase/bunker to be built without the supply truck.
Placement is key. Place it on the side of the hill and it will slide all the way down to the bottom.
