Ok yes its been asked but never fixed for me plz help

I've used the search button and ive googled it like cray.

OK here is the target and start in on my PR shortcut

target

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"+modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1"

start in

"c:\program files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"

my pr.exe(the one that when i click says "bf2.exe does not exist") is right here

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe

1. What should my target look like

2. What should my "start in" look like

3. plz give me the exact folder to place my pr.exe in (if that what i need to move)

I have looked at alot of people suggestions as to where to move pr.exe and as to what my target and "start in" should look like but no avail , each time i changed my target/start in i get the message that what i have change it to is invalid.

In one of the tabs of the shortcut's properties there's an option to "Run as an administrator".

Tick it.

If it's gray for whatever reason try to launch PR by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting run as admin.


EDIT: Hold on a second.

So where is your game installed?

Is it
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

or

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

?

i had assumed that it was running as admin this whole time and not only that...i didnt think it would change whether it ran from bf2.exe or pr.exe .

ive been trying 4 hours to get help by googling and what not but apparently every1 else who had this problem was smart enuf 2 hit run as admin b4 theyasked LOL.

thank you so much, i miss pr alot and im gonna goplay my first round in months right now

omg plz help me i have the same problem

this is my game installed: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

and i already Ticked 'Run as an administrator' and try to launch PR by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting run as admin.

but its still came out a warning screen :alt+f4.......>< plz help me

When you ask for help PLEASE post your O/S and system specks

My shortcuts( I run Vista) are:

target:
"E:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start /AFFINITY 2 +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

(note: "/AFFINITY 2" in the string sets the mod to use only one cpu and isn't needed unless you have more than 1 cpu)

start in:
"E:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\"

As you can see I'm not running the game on my "C" drive so you change E to your drive letter.

Vista needs "run in compatibility mode" AND
"run as administrator" checked

If your running XP remove (X86) from the string
