Network issue
I own a Zyxel P660H-D1 modem and a Dlink DGL-4300 Wrouter. Sometimes my connection cuts, meaning I can not use internet or download or upload. Although my connection is not cut as I can see from the icon in the task bar. I have checked for viruses and spyware, and deleted them. But this still happens not so often now but still. I don't know if it's a hardware failure or something else? The connection gets back after a while, sometimes 10-30 minutes. I have tried once to reboot my router from the web browser and it started to work instantly. Using Vista Home Premium.

Re: Network issue
I have the same router and OS(64). I find it rock solid.
Make sure you have it password protected with a GOOD password >8 (# and letters) If you don't need wireless turn it off. If you do, use a good pass code phrase >13 for the WPA Did you setup the game fuel settings ect.? Sound like a port problem. Setup the router to log all traffic. Next time you hit a snag check the time asap, log in to the router and check the log at that time. hope it helps |
