This is way too hard...
I've had PR for the past couple of weeks now. I really like playing the game, it's fun as mess. But it is wayyyyyy to frustrating to actually find a way to play the game.
I feel like I'm just getting screwed over here. I'm getting kicked for losing key packets, for md5 tool queries, and apparently for excessive teamkilling (which seems like some sort of excuse for me not to enter the server). And half the servers I can't even join because of my stupid ping. Some of the servers giving me trouble include Thors Brigade, Texas Teamplayers, Tactical Gamers, and others. I'm unsure what my problem is, whether it be my internet or my computer or whatever, but if I could get some good help here in fixing these problems, I will be very grateful. I'm no expert with computers, and I have read plenty of others posts on these issues, but they're too complicated for me to understand. Please reply, and I will try my best to give whatever information I can if needed. I just want to enjoy playing PR like the rest of you all. Thanks. |

Re: This is way too hard...
the excessive teamkilling thing is probably because you are trying to join a server that is technically full for it has a slot reserved. Its an odd message you would have also seen in vBF2.
Also make sure you have the correct ports open in ur firewall/router, I found that I was kicked for losing packets before I set these up correctly- this is what you usually have to do to run multiplayer games. UDP 27900 UDP/TCP 29900 TCP 80 TCP 4711 TCP 29901 UDP 1500-4999 UDP/TCP 1024-1124 UDP 28910 UDP 16567 UDP 55123-55125 |

Thanks guys for replying. Well, I just did the thing you gave me Headhunter, so I'm going to try that out.
But, how do I acsses my firewall router and put all of that information in? Thank you for the help so far. |

type the IP in to your web browser address bar, using the web browser you can access the various functions of your router. | |
