Allright, i think this is a Vista 64 bits problem..
I Have not seen any related topic to this post, that's why iam posting. (Several wierd bugs, to bad my screen shot isint geting saved, something wierd going on) Major Bugg for me: When i connect to a server and plays for about 10 seconds and up to 2 minutes, then it just kicks me outa the game by PunkBuster, and it gives me this error "Memory Leak/Corrupted" And it continues like that repeatly after joining a server. Second Bugg: When i try to launch the PR.EXE inside my BF2/Mods/PR so does it tell me this "Could not find BF2.Exe". Truth is: Iam using a 1.41 Crack for my BattleField2 since my CD-Disc is corrupted. I Do have a legal CD-Key and everything, im even Lieutnant on real BF2, so it's not really a piracy how i see it, (shouldnt give me error for that). (Yes, i bought the game legaly from a Store) Third Bugg: I recently entered a server, and when picking a team and i click Respawn, then it comes up this "You will respawn in 8250 Seconds" But that was just on one server though. Extra notes: I use Windows Vista 64 Bits. 8GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX Graphic card, plenty of disc place left. (UAC Is - OFF) (FireWall Is - ON) Very thankfull and greatfull if you could respond on how to fix this. Kindly regards, Kristoffer Johansson - Sweden. |

Re: Vista 64 Bits Issues.
I don't think it's a Vista issue.
Try updating punkbuster manually with pbsvc. If your bf2 cd or dvd is broke and you don't want to spend the $10 bucks for another copy you can use a mini disk image(Google bf2 mini disk image) and a program like Alcohol 120 to mount it to your desktop.Alcohol 120 is $45 bucks tho so you'll have to look around for a free app that can mount the image. Hope that helps |

Re: Vista 64 Bits Issues.
For the disconnecting in the first 2 minutes, definitely punkbuster. Update it, and even better reinstall it.

I didn't ead what you wrote, but I know your problem and how to fix it!
Problem VISTA!!!!! Solution downgrade to XP problem solved! "I didn't read what you wrote" is not a good start for a post trying to help someone. Post something useful, or don't post. Warning given. |

Re: Vista 64 Bits Issues.
Check your Vista updates, if you have turned them off (as I did). If you have already patched the system up to SP1 then it could probably be that cracked .exe you're using. I had similar problems on V.64 pre-SP1, but have discovered none on few recent Vista64 PR-gaming installs.
Check your latest graphics drivers. You have already checked and made updates to punkbuster? This thread might help getting PR.exe working right http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27...unable-start-pr.html. I agree on using mini image. I'm running that way since i've bought my BF2 DVD without problems. (Yet that didn't really helped my original DVD as I have cracked it due to many (re-)installs ) @[=TC=]nuetron - c'mon man...try to help next time. |

Re: Vista 64 Bits Issues.
You need to be running XP pro 64 for your system to be able to break the 4 gig barrier and use all your ram(8 gigs?)
32 bit operating systems can not address(use) more than 4 gigs of ram. That, and the fact I'm running two 64 bit CPUs, was the main reason I upgraded to Vista 64 premium. An OEM copy of Vista 64 premium was less than a copy of XP PRO 64 and with Media center(included with premium and above) I have a free(NO monthly fees) PVR as well. Good luck |

As for the mini-image, use Daemon Tools to mount it. | |
