Question I know this is stupid...

I know that this is stupid, since I have installed and played the last versions of PR, back since 0.5....But I treid to install 0.7 today(yes the newest version) since my computer just got fixed and it didn't work.

I put it under C:/program files/EAgames/Battlefield2/Mods

Was I supposed to put it under anything else?

like the one that automacitally comes up?
(C:/program files/Battlefield2/EAgames)

I know its stupid, but since my computer was broken, I have just lost it as far as PR and the installation.

do you have the newest BF2 patch?

Yeah, I have the latest, I got it before, I downloaded and played Nations @ War which requires the latest BF2 patch.......so Im 100% sure I have that, and as long as the version the site has is the latest....I have the latest PR version.

It won't just not play like "cannot connect to server".
It says "cannot find BF2.EXE" when I try to play......any ideas?

What folders do you have in *blabla*\Battlefield2\mods ?

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

Shouldn't that be C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2?

nuetron

Just to make certain I'm going to ask if you did something really obvious.
You did in fact INSTALL (i.e. double click) on the downloaded files and hence auto extract and install them right? You keep mentioning that you moved them into the Battlefield 2/mods/ folder. There shouldn't be any moving necessary. They should automatically install in the correct directory and then the shortcut should automatically be generated.

Just making sure since your commentary on moving files into a folder is very odd for the installation of the 0.756 mod version or PR.
