First you install the core.

Then you install the levels.

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

is there a difference between .7 and .758 as it shows up when I run it, with the level instalation, and why does after I have installed both levels and the core to .75 PR release, do no levels show up, is this problem a Vista deficientcy?

No Vista will run PR fine as long as you set shortcut to run as "admin" and compatibility with Xp. The download lists the "patch" first then the "core"
with "levels" (maps) last. Perhaps you grabbed the patch by mistake?
Good luck

Thanks mate that worked. Now I can login. Now I have another problem.
When I click to join a map the game shuts down and returns to desktop.

Thumbs up Re: the levels along with the core se

Are you sure you installed the "levels"?
Check inside your pr folder(C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr)look for the levels folder.
Do you see the new maps?
(fools_road and battle_for_qinling?)
A couple of things you can try if you do have the "levels" installed:
Reinstall v1.41 patch
Toss out your cache files:

C:\Users\"your name"\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache.
corrupted cache files can cause "CTD"

Download and install the "levels"(map packs) from a different server.

The first time I tried pr_0708 I "CTD" too. I somehow got a corrupted download but getting and installing a new one did the trick.

Good luck
