Missing a BF2 CD

I'm missing the first CD to Battlefield 2. I have the CD-Key (Registered) and the second and third CD, but missing the first. I'm sorry to bother about this, and I'm sure theres an easy solution that I am missing.

Do I need the first CD to play PR. Is there a place where I can Download a legit copy of BF2?

Yes, you do need a full installation of BF2 to play PR.


Unfortunately there's no place where you can download the CD legally.

But legal CD key is really the only thing that matters. Therefore you could "get" yourself a CD that wouldn't be that much legal and yet play the game normally.

Would it be possible for me to download it, patch it, and play PR without the first CD?

Edit: I know the DL won't be legit, but could I still play PR if it's patched, and without a CD?

No, you'll need to completely install BF2 before you can install PR.


If you have BF2 already installed, but cannot play it because of the missing CD, then google for BF2 mini-image.

If I have the Full BF2 game, patched an all, installed PR. Would I beable to play PR without the BF2 CD?

Get the bf2 mini image and run/mount it to a virtual drive using Daemon tools or Alcohol 120%
