Is PR stopping me from playing vBF2?

Hi, I have just tried to play vanilla BF2 and the SF expansion and on both games when I finally finished loading the server I got that dreaded message we all hate to see, the "Modified Content" error message.

I'm not sure why this is happening, was it the last PR patch? I am I quite sure that it was working a couple of days ago, long after installing the most recent PR patch. Has anyone else had this issue?

If there's any more info you want to know I would be happy to find it for you, also, I patched the Battlepaint mod recently, though I am quite sure that I have played vBF2 since then...

Start up PR, let it load and then exit it using the QUIT button.

This will remove all of the PR's custom shaders that are preventing you from playing the game.

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

By let it load, do you mean load into a game? because i'm loading it into the main menu and quiting and its not working.

hehe don`t even try to play vBF2
after PR I could stand less then 5 min in vBF2
now its too awful for me

technically: if pr.exe was closed uncleanly
rerun of pr.exe and clean close of it should restore all files back to normal

after quiting from pr.exe check that your
\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\shaders_client.zip is 218 kb (223590 bytes)
but not 188 kb (188788 bytes)

pr.exe modify only that file in vBF2 (oh and shaders_night_client in SF, to 188 kb )

Had this problem with FH2 and PR. Quitting properly just wouldn´t work for some reason. So you need to clear your cache in my documents/battlefield 2/mods/bf2/cache and then it should work.
