Bf2.exe does not exist

Went playing PR and got this when running the shortcut and the pr.exe in mods/pr

Ok never mind, I fixed it, have to run PR from EA GAMES/battlefield 2/pr.exe not Battlefield 2/mods/pr

I do this as well but now I frequently get kicked from servers by punkbuster when it can't find battlefield2/mods/pr.exe does/did this happen to you? If you have managed to fix this problem can you please share it because I am sick of being kicked.

Copy and paste the pr.exe into the main Battlefield 2 folder, then create a shortcut to it on the desktop, I had no problems

I'm sorry, I don't get the process behind that (i'm not a computer whiz) so what do I do to fix this problem?

Copy and paste is how you copy files from one place to another.
To copy a file or folder click on it to highlight(select)it, Then hold down the control key
(lower left key with Ctrl on it) and press the "c" key. This makes a temp copy to system memory
commonly called the "clipboard". To "paste" ( writing the file somewhere else)
hold down control and press the "v" key.
So to review:
Copy = Ctrl + c
Paste = Ctrl + v
Remember you must hold down the control key when you press c or v
The clipboard only holds one copy at a time and is lost when you shutdown.
You can buy 3 party software to improve the clipboard.

So to fix your problem search for pr.exe
When you find it first select it(hightlight)
Then copy it to clipboard.
go to your bf2 folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
paste it into the same folder as bf2.exe

now go to your desktop and right click on the PR shortcut
make you "target" window look like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start /+modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

i cannot find bf2.exe any ideas?

Look inside:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
Look for a file called BF2
Look at the file type, it should say "application"
That is your bf2.exe your computer just isn't showing the extension
If you don't have the installed Battlefield 2 files then
reinstall BF2 . I burned a DVD backup of my EA folder and all downloads
after all was said and done so I could
just drag and drop a replacement if needed.

So to review:
reinstall bf2
install 1.41 patch
Install "core"
Install "levels"
