Fixed my crash to desktop

Hello

Myself and a lot of other people crashed to desktop after loading a map.
Start this topic because otherwise I have to answer in about five different topics with the same title.


First i thougt it was a vista thing, but after installing xp again I had the same problem. I even installed xp again on a new harddisk to be certain it wouldn't have any traces of vista on it


Then I thougt it had something to do with the new computer i bought...

reinstalled bf2, patch , pr countless times, redownloading patch

this were the errors running in windows mode (fullscreen 0) in properties

This is how it got fixed on my pc , and it was easyer then I thougt.

redownloaded the full pr mod and installed it, it miracusly worked.

Before i tried t0 begin a new game I also disabled eax in audio options

Thanks for sharing, it was probably a corrupt download, so if I were you, I'd enable EAX.
