I don't know if I'm on the right track here but for you that have issues with PR under Vista maybe should look into this application that how I understand it can resolve the XP issues under Vista.

This last version 5.0 is for Vista and there are 1000 of XP games that has been tweeked to work for Vista.

For BF2 there is already 3 fixes, but the application let's you create custom compatibility fixes, compatibility modes, and compatibility databases. I don't know if you can run PR under the BF2 fix or you have to do similar fix? Apparantly you have to create "New database" and "Compatibility mode" for PR.

Compatibility Administrator

ACT 5.0 also includes the Compatibility Administrator tool, which enables you to resolve many of your potential application compatibility issues before deploying a new version of Windows to your organization.


The Compatibility Administrator assists you by:
