Distorted text in game console
Hey folks, just wondering if anyone's very familiar with the NVidia Control panel?
I was tinkering with my settings a week or so ago to get maximum FPS out of my system, and of course I hadn't made a note of where they where originally. I've set them back to where I think they were, and now in BF2/PR my console (once you press the tilde button) - the text in it is somewhat distorted. It's slightly faded and it looks like the top half is slightly seperated from the bottom. It's legible, but only just. Haven't got a screenie, but can upload one if need be. Everything else about the game is fine. Basically, I wanna know what setting I need to scale down/tinker with in order to fix it. Ta! |

in bf42 it was something to do with a antialasing being to high
i believe its the same in bf2, in bf42 it could be improved by something called alternative pixel offset if my memory is working correctly but i am not sure about bf2 or if just case of lowering it a few notches |

Mine has always been like that. Its god awful trying to ype something in correctly, check the map list or that time I had to find my hash for the PRL.

I started getting it the first time I did renderer.drawhud 0, but it went away for a while after I set the nvidia control panel to medium.

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass
so, if you don't like PR, get a refund

the cause seems to be if you set antialaisng from nvida control panel, if you set aa in game with enchance the application set from nvidia control panel it works fine with out the blurring

nvidia software, The most annoying software ever. I have never come across software so hard to install and operate in the time I have had a pc.

Thanks guys, thought it was the AA from when I had a similar problem a year or two ago, dropped it to 8x and it's looking fine again.
